Remote API: complete control over a laser marking system

October 14, 2018

The Remote API was developed to control a laser marker programmatically with a sequence of commands. This can be done with or without a PC connected directly to the marking machine.

FARO® offers several embedded marking controllers which can be used without a PC, as well as WinLase® software that does run on a PC, and all can be controlled with the Remote API.

By using an Ethernet or serial cable, it is possible to remotely control and monitor the basic and advanced functionality of the marking system.
