FARO® sets a new standard for the laser marking industry – a single processor controlling a network of Ethernet-enabled smart laser marking devices. A compact, completely integrated Ethernet-based “smart” controller system for galvanometer-based laser scanning systems, the FARO LEC Series eliminates the need for local computer control and is ideal for automation environments where space is at a premium.

The LEC control boards work seamlessly with FARO’s WinLase® Laser Process Software, offering OEMs, integrators and manufacturing high-speed performance and accuracy for any application. The LEC offers local job storage and execution – a first in the industry. Freedom from local PC connectivity delivers simplified management in distributed automation environments where one computer can manage an array of LEC controllers attached to a network.
