On March 1, 2016, the fabled Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles closed for a deep renovation as part of the $2.5 billion Century Plaza development project. They decided to invest in FARO Laser Scanner technology to assist in the as-built documentation and the creation of a RevitTM model to help QC the as-built conditions.
