Manitowoc Cranes manufactures lifting solutions including crawler, boom, telescoping, and tower cranes. Manitowoc previously used blueprints, tape measures, chalk and physical templates to set all the parts on each frame for welding. The downsides to this traditional way of laying out each frame include massive rework and the costs associated with it. 

Manitowoc turned to the FARO® TracerM Laser Projector to eliminate costly rework and correctly laser-set parts.
