Mission Support Inc. overhauls U.S. Air Force B-52s using the FaroArm

December 3, 2009

CASE STUDY:
Mission Support Incorporated (MSI) is a service provider for major commercial aerospace companies, including performing the inspection of U.S. Air Force legacy aircraft components. MSI essentially remanufactures the bypass ducts of the B-52, often performing a complete disassembly/reassembly during overhaul.

Mission Support found it increasingly difficult to produce conforming products using the original hard tooling. To solve these issues, Mission Support uses a FARO® FaroArm® for both their production and QA inspection needs.
