Robot calibration with FARO Laser Tracker

February 13, 2014

Robots need to be calibrated at specific intervals as they tend to drift from their nominal paths over time. The FARO® Laser Tracker can conduct recalibrations, which are necessary to guarantee robot accuracy for increased reliability on the production line. The laser beam tracks a retroreflector and thereby knows the exact x-, y-, z- position of the robot. Measurement and certification reports are easily generated using the FARO Laser Tracker.
