This is a a 360 degree, 3D scanned tour of Dippy the Dinosaur, created using the FARO® Focus Laser Scanner and SCENE Software. Dippy is a cast of the first Dipolodocus skeleton ever found and was made in the early 1900 from the original skeleton in Pennsylvania, USA.
Dippy stands 85 feet (26 meters) long, 14 feet (4.3 meters) wide and 13.7 feet (4.2 meters) high. Originally unveiled at The Natural History Museum in London, Dippy is one of 10 replicas of the original in museums around the world.
